Gavin Ramjaun

Gavin began his broadcasting career as a trainee reporter at ITV Meridian - but after a short period, he moved to the BBC to present long-running iconic children’s news programmes Newsround and Sportsround. In the four years as a studio presenter and reporter, he interviewed some of the biggest names in news, sport and entertainment – including with Usain Bolt, Miley Cyrus and PM David Cameron. From here, he became a correspondent with BBC Breakfast television - developing a niche within news and features in the field. His reports have featured on network radio programming - BBC Radio Five Live and the Today programme to name a couple. Alongside this, the 28 year old is a regular face presenting sport for the BBC News Channel and BBC World - as one of the youngest presenters in the channel’s history.
