Motor Trend OnDemand launches across UK and Europe

Motoring fans able to access more than 2,000 hours of premium automotive content, live and on demand

Racing highlights include European Le Mans series, Pirelli World Challenge, FIA Formula 3 European Championship and 24-hour Nurburgring

With the “over-the-top” streaming market forecast to grow from $28bn in 2015 to $62bn by 2020, this announcement is another milestone in the broadcasting revolution that is changing the way people choose and watch TV content.

Millions of motorsport fans in the UK and Europe will now be able to chUK EUropeoose and watch over a thousand hours of live racing via their phones, tablets or desktop computers, including the 24-Hour Nurburgring, Blancpain GT series, FIA Formula 3, FIM Motorcycle Racing, Virgin Australia Supercars and the Pirelli World Challenge.
Motor Trend OnDemand’s expansion into the European market has been driven by the success of its US service which launched in 2016 and quickly became the most popular automotive SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) service in America.

Also key to the launch was the worldwide popularity of the group’s Motor Trend YouTube Channel which as well as becoming the number one Auto video site in the US, ranked in the top 5 Auto channels globally.

By tapping into the growing trend for a more personalised and flexible multimedia experience, the service aims to become the go-to online destination for millions of motor racing fans and self-confessed cars nuts across the UK and Europe.
